Day 1 Private transfer from Guatemala city to Antigua for overnight at Panza Verde (standard suite), Antigua.

 

Day 2 Morning at leisure. Afternoon privately guided city tour of Antigua. Overnight at Panza Verde (standard suite), Antigua.

 

Day 3 Private transfer to the Mayan ruins at Ixmiche (near Lake Atitlan). Explore independently. Private transfer to Panajachel and time allowed to explore town. Transfer to Hotel Atitlan on Lake Atitlan for overnight.

 

Day 4 Privately guided half day tour of the Mayan village of Santiago with lunch included. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at Hotel Atitlan, Lake Atitlan.

 

Day 5 Private transfer to Chichicastenango to visit the Mayan market (Thurs & Sun). Lunch included. Private transfer to Antigua. Overnight night at Panza Verde (standard suite), Antigua.

Day 7 Half day privately guided tour of the Mayan temples within the Tikal National Park. Lunch included. Overnight Camino Real, El Peten.

 

Day 8 Day at leisure. Afternoon transfer to Flores airport for flight to Guatemala City. Private transfer to Hotel Vista Real (master suite), Guatemala City  for overnight.

 

Day 9 Early private transfer to airport for flight to San Jose (approx 1.5 hrs). Private transfer to the hotel on arrival. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight Hotel Alta, San Jose.

 

Day 10 Morning private guided excursion to Poas Volcano and La Paz waterfall garden. Overnight Hotel Alta, San Jose.

 

Day 11 Early morning group transfer to Caribbean coast by road and boat. (Luggage restriction of 25lbs per person). Breakfast en route and lunch on arrival at Evergreen Lodge. Overnight at Laguna Lodge on a full board basis, Tortuguero.

 

Day 12 Morning guided walk in the National Park and afternoon boat excursion on the lagoons and narrow canals for wildlife observation. Overnight at Evergreen Lodge, Tortuguero.

 

Day 13 Transfer to the airstrip for flight to San Jose (approx 25 mins). Meet private transfer to Arenal, the most active volcano in Costa Rica. Overnight

Day 14 Morning private tour to Arenal Hanging Bridges Park with a naturalist guide. Overnight Arenal Nayara Hotel.

 

Day 15 Private transfer to Manuel Antonio on the Pacific coast. Stop to observe crocodiles en route. Overnight El Parador Resort  (superior room).

 

Day16 Morning privately guided excursion to Manuel Antonio National Park. Overnight at El Parador Resort (superior room).

 

Day 17 Day at leisure. Overnight at El Parador Resort (superior room).

 

Day 18 Morning at leisure. Private transfer to Central Valley. Remainder of day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel Alta, San Jose.

 

Day 19 Private transfer to airport for return flight.
