Day 1 Private transfer from Lima international airport to Hotel Antigua Miraflores. Check-in for 2 night stay on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 2 Private guided half day tour of Lima including the Archaeological Museum.
Day 3 Private transfer to Lima airport for flight to Cusco. Private transfer to Hotel Ruinas. Check-in for 2 night stay on bed and breakfast basis. Afternoon to acclimatise.
Day 4 Private guided half day tour of Cusco and local Inca sites including Sachyhuaman.
Day 5 Private guided full day tour of Sacred Valley including Pisac market (main day Sunday) and Ollantaytambo Inca fortress. Check-in to Hotel Pakaritampu, Ollanta, for overnight stay on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 6 Short walk to Ollanta station (porters take luggage). Vistadome Train to Aguas Calientes. Check-in to Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo for overnight stay on a half board basis. Private guided tour of Machu Picchu including minibus transfers and lunch.
Day 7 Second entry to Machu Picchu (no guide). Vistadome Train to Poroy. Private transfer to Hotel Ruinas, Cusco. Check-in for overnight stay on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 8 Private transfer to Cusco station. Andean Explorer Train to Puno (Lake Titicaca) in first class carriage, approx 8 hours, includes lunch, (Mon, Wed, Sat only). Private transfer to Casa Andina Private Collection, Puno. Check-in for overnight stay on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 9 Private transfer to the Bolivian border. Assistance with border crossing. Minibus to Copacabana. Slow hydrofoil to Sun Island via Moon Island. Steep walk along track to lodge. Llamas available to carry luggage. Check-in for overnight stay at Posada del Inca, Sun Island on a full board basis. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 10 Morning at leisure. Slow hydrofoil to Huatajata. Opportunity to take refreshment and look around the Cultural Centre at Inca Utama Hotel. Private transfer to La Paz. Check in to El Rey Palace, Sopacachi for a 2 night stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 11 Morning: Private guided half day excursion to Tiwanaku. Afternoon: Private guided half day tour of La Paz.
Day 12 Private transfer to La Paz airport for flight to Sucre. Private transfer to Hostal de Su Merced. Check-in for a 2 night stay on a bed and breakfast basis. Private guided half day tour of Sucre including a choice of museums.
Day 13 Private guided full day tour to Tarabuco Market (Sunday only) and Hacienda Candelaria. Includes lunch.
Day 14 Private transfer to Potosi. Check-in to Hotel Coloso for an overnight stay on a bed and breakfast basis. Private guided tour of Potosi including Cerro Rico mine and lunch.
Day 15 Private transfer to Uyuni (approximately 5 hours). Includes packed lunch. Check-in to Luna Salada for 1 night stay on half board basis. Rest of afternoon at leisure.
Day 16 3 day / 2 night private guided tour through Salar de Uyuni and the Coloured Lagoons to Chile, on a full board basis. Day 1 includes visits to Colchani salt factories, Salar de Uyuni including Isla de Pescado, and Galaxia and Devil’s Caves. Overnight at Lodge Tayka de Piedra*, San Pedro de Quemez.
Day 17 Day 2 includes visits to Canapa and Hedionda Lagoons and the Desert of Siloli. Overnight at Lodge Tayka de Desierto*, Ojos de Perdiz
Day 18 Day 3 includes visits to the Coloured and Green Lakes and the Sol de Manana geyser. Assistance with border crossing at Hito Cajon. Private transfer to San Pedro de Atacama. Check-in to Hotel Kimal for 3 night stay on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 19 Early morning private excursion to Tatio Geysers. Afternoon at leisure.
